You should either apply a few drops of essential oil to your forehead, or put a few drops of the oil on a handkerchief and smell it at periodic intervals. Additionally, inhaling the essential oil with steam is also a good idea.
- Washcloth Compression: Place a towel soaked in warm water on the forehead. Gently press the towel on the area affected. A combination of pressure and heat will help relieve the condition. Alternatively, place a warm mug or any other substance on the region for relief.
- Hydrate Yourself: Drinking ample amounts of water on a daily basis goes a long way in keeping your mucous membranes moist and curbing the irritation.
